We like to think that all our reading glasses are durable and will last a long time before replacement is needed. We have a couple of suggestions for you.

Our brand I Need You from Germany have an award-winning style called Hangovers which are a best seller. The are made of hard-wearing plastic with aspheric polycarbonate lenses. Their main durable feature is that they have extra-long flex temples which prevents snapping at the point between the temple and the frame.

A cause of damage to reading glasses can often be dropping them on the floor after they have slipped off your face. These durable reading glasses will never fall off your face. The longer temples comfortably grip the back of your head, so no slipping. You can also move them down your nose to fit them wherever you wish. You can place them on your head, and they will stay put. After use you can hang the extra long temples around your neck, and they will not fall off. These are certainly worth considering.

Our Swiss Brand Montana have 2 styles Wengen MR52 and Eiger MR51 ( our name for them) which are flat framed  plastic polycarbonate reading glasses. The feature here is that they come in a flat hard case for easy carrying and if dropped will not damage the glasses.

Our Policy on Durability

We have a policy to replace any reading glasses that have broken through no fault of the wearer. For instance, if during manufacture there is a fault as can sometimes happen. So let us know if you experience this with any of our products.
